Ha Giang Loop Adventure
Six days on the most legendary motorcycle route in Vietnam — Ma Pi Leng, Dong Van Karst Plateau and the Nho Que River, fully guided and supported.
Overview
The Ha Giang Loop is why riders come to Vietnam. Over six days you climb hairpin passes carved into limestone, trace the emerald Nho Que River from the Ma Pi Leng skywalk, and sleep in H’mong and Tay villages along the Chinese frontier. Every day is fully guided, with a support vehicle, an on-road mechanic and a spare motorcycle — so you focus on the ride, not the logistics.
Day-by-day itinerary
~350 km total riding · 4–6 hours on the bike most days.
Arrival in Ha Giang
Meet your guide, bike hand-over, safety briefing and a test ride. Optional transfer from Hanoi (overnight sleeper bus or private car). Evening welcome dinner.
Ha Giang → Yen Minh
The adventure begins. Climb to Quan Ba Heaven’s Gate for the Twin Mountains viewpoint, then sweep through the first high passes into the Dong Van Karst Plateau.
Yen Minh → Dong Van
Ride to Lung Cu Flag Tower — Vietnam’s northernmost point on the Chinese frontier — visit the H’mong King’s Palace, and overnight in the atmospheric Dong Van Old Quarter.
Dong Van → Ma Pi Leng → Meo Vac
The crown jewel: the Ma Pi Leng Pass above the turquoise Nho Que River. A boat ride into the Tu San Canyon, then down to the market town of Meo Vac.
Meo Vac → Du Gia → Ha Giang
Remote back-roads few travellers see: hidden passes, the Du Gia waterfall for a swim, and quiet valleys back toward Ha Giang. Celebratory final dinner.
