Follow the line north and back — every day its own landscape, from Ma Pi Leng Pass to Khau Pha Pass.
Roll out of Hanoi and trade city traffic for open country roads — an easy warm-up to settle into the bike before the mountains begin. Overnight in Nghia Lo.

After roughly 6 hrs in the saddle over an easy ride back to the city, we roll back into the city where the journey began. Bikes are handed in during the afternoon, and most riders stay on a night to raise a glass to the miles.
